WORK EXPERIENCE WITH ACCENTURE

Resolving issues determined during Complex Audit 

Electricity Industry – Independent System Operator                                               07/04 -

 

I’m responsible for managing the issues found during the Complex Audit, designing and delivering the solutions for them, together with the management of different departments at the client.

My responsibilities include:

-          Issue management

-          Organizing workshop for management

-          Designing system functions, testing after implementation

-          Designing and implementing process changes

 

Preparation for the Complex Audit 

Electricity Industry – Independent System Operator                                    03/04 – 07/04

 

As a continuation of the previous project, that successfully prepared the client for the ISO audit in 2003, the client has initiated a Complex Audit for their main operations. The Complex Audit included its IT systems, and processes in integration and the aim was to prove that the client operates according to its internal and external rules.

 

My responsibilities included:

-          Managing the team of 3 consultants

-          Creating the test approach, test scenarios, conditions and scripts for the processes and IT system functions in System and Market Operation, Metering and Settlement, System Planning, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivables business areas

-          Conducting test and documenting test results

-          Designing Issue management tool and coordinating issues with client management

 

Build and Manage Patient-Centric Healthcare Systems

Health Industry – National Health Services                                                  11/03 – 02/04

 

The project helped the client to improve healthcare for patients in North East England with designing, building and managing key information systems to support patient care and services.

I was working in the Unit Tools team, that was responsible for implementing the supporting IT systems for the organization established for implementing and managing the healthcare system.

 

My responsibilities included:

-          Managing the implementation team (2 developers from an India based solution center and 3 consultants) implementing Kintana (IT process automation, workflow system)

-          Implementing the IT processes (eg. application maintanance, change management, build, release management, testing, project management).based on ITIL methodology in the workflow management system

 

Complex Preparation for the ISO Audit 

Electricity Industry – Independent System Operator                                    05/03 – 10/03

 

The client planned to undergo an ISO Audit. We helped them to prepare for the Audit by designing, documenting their core processes (Energy- and Transmission system planning, Scheduling, Market operation, System Operation, Settlement).

 

My responsibilities included:

-          Functional designer and team leader

-          Updating the Process model and designing, documenting the processes that were changing due to the regulation changes

-          Creating the training materials and delivering training to the top management of MAVIR

 

IT support

Electricity Industry – Independent System Operator                                    12/02 – 03/03

 

We helped the client with a small team in solving IT related issues that occured due to regulation and process changes.

 

My responsibilities included:

-          Functional design and testing of reports, displays and new functions of the Open Market System (ongoing implementation by a system implementation company)

-          Designing detailed process flows, that were related to the new system

-          Helped in other IT related issues to the client, like IT strategy review, DataWarehouse design review

 

BPR Project

Electricity Industry – Major Hungarian Power Company                            09/02 – 12/02

 

The objective of the BPR project was to define Business Process Modell and the detailed Business Processes on Front office and Back Office areas for a Major Hungarian Power Company.

 

My responsibilities included:

-          Conducting process design interviews with the client

-          Taking part in Process Modell definition, delivering processes on Front Office and Back Office area

-          Delivering training for the client

-          Maintaining co-ordination with the Energy Trading and Risk Management system implementation team and deliver common materials 

 

Strategy and Operation Model design

Electricity Industry – Independent System Operator                                    05/02 – 09/02

 

We conducted executive workshops to develop the mission, vision, main strategic goals and the action plan for MAVIR in the new liberalized electricity market. Besides defining the short and long term strategy of MAVIR, the Operation model was also developed.

 

My responsibilities included:

-          Scheduled the interviews and workshop with top management

-          Conducted interviews, prepare workshop materials, and end presentation

-          Functional architect of the Operation model

 

Oracle Manufacturing Implementation

Automotive Industry – Major Automotive Company                                    11/00 – 04/02

 

The aim of the Oracle Manufacturing project is to design and build Oracle Manufacturing system including modules: Purchasing, Inventory, Bill of Materials, Engineering, Work in Process, Materials requirement Planning, Quality Order Entry, Cost Management synchronized with the four already implemented Financial modules, replacing their existing legacy system.
After the Conceptual Design phase we were responsible to complete the Detailed Design phase, Implementation Phase and to provide go-live support.

 

My responsibilities included:

As member of the Logistics team, responsible for the Purchasing module implementation

supervising a group of client personnel, 3 functional and 2 programming team members

-          Gather user requirements

-          Prepare Conceptual and detailed design for the Purchasing and Receiving processes

-          (detailed process plan, report-, interface- and conversion modules functional plan, GAP analyses for future Oracle processes)

-          Prepare and present CRP (Prototype) in Purchasing and Receiving processes

-          Implement Purchasing module and part of Inventory module (setup system, testing, prepare client personal for the training)

-          Communication within and outside the project (preparing monthly newsletter about the project)

-          During the go-live support responsible for Post implementation support in purchasing and receiving area, Coordinate Production Investigation Requests (PIR), Prepare PIR status report for the project management

 

Oracle Financials Post-implementation Enhancements
